TAYLOR Studios, Ltd., a Milwaukee-based film and video production company, announces the completion of a new independent short film “Assassins Reunion”. Written and directed by Sheboygan WI filmmaker Danny Ghaffouri, and produced by TAYLOR Studios, Assassins Reunion was filmed entirely in the Milwaukee area using all local actors and crew.

The 30 minute drama explores the bizarre relationships between five people linked by an event that shocked the world ten years previous. They were all there that day in Dallas, but only one of them knows what really happened, and why.  The film’s technical director Jeff Taylor, put it this way:

“Danny has taken the JFK assassination mystery and turned it into a very intriguing concept for a movie.  Just like the five characters, the audience is challenged to figure out who actually pulled the trigger.  Our challenge was to work within a very limited budget without making it look “low budget”.  I think we pulled it off.”

The film’s all Wisconsin cast includes Tom Lodewyck, Edy Cullen, Tommy Dallace, Damien Bralic, Melissa Griffin, Tommy Mole and Danny Ghaffouri.

The film crew – also all from Wisconsin – included Mike Gillis (director of photography), Carlo Besasie (chief lighting technician). Don Unverrich, Jess Macleod, Michael Vollmann, and Jordan Roepke.  Behind the scenes were production coordinator Allyson Bahr, costume designer Angela Kiefer and production assistant Laura Smith.  Casting, pre-production, and production direction was provided by The Ralph Pabst Company.

Prior to its official release in early January 2008, selected scenes can be viewed now at www.taylorstudios.us/assassinsreunion .  The complete film will be sneak previewed at TAYLOR Studios at 6:00 pm on Saturday October 13, and again at 2:00 pm on Sunday October 14. 2007  For more information or to attend the sneak preview, please email to assassinstickets@taylorstudios.us
